Car crashes are a leading cause of death for children 1 to 13 years old. Deaths and injuries can often be prevented by the proper use of correctly installed car seats, boosters, and seat belts.

Assemblymember Richard Bloom partnered with the California Highway Patrol to host a FREE Car Seat Safety Inspection Event at the City of Malibu’s Preparedness Expo.

Stop by the event to have your child safety seat inspected by certified technicians representing the California Highway Patrol. This free event is open to all ages and will include fire safety classes, earthquake preparedness classes, and activity booths all focused on keeping our communities safe.
