SPRING FLING PICS ARE IN
About 1000 neighbors showed up for our first ever Spring Fling Festival. It was a cool Saturday afternoon filled with tons of fun -- and we have the pictures to prove it! The slideshow above is just some of the photos taken by our amazing photographer Elaine Lee (firstname.lastname@example.org).
thank you, young artists!
We are so grateful to all the students and teachers who participated in our Art Challenge and put their creativity on display at Spring Fling. Click on the images below to get a closer at their beautiful work:
PLEASE TAKE THE PURPOSEFUL AGING SURVEY
survey ends May 31
How should LA change to meet the needs of our growing population of seniors?
Last year, the City and County of L.A. launched "Purposeful Aging L.A. - An Age Friendly Initiative For L.A.", committing to a future where the needs of older adults are more carefully considered in the building of infrastructure, the planning of programs, and making of policy. Now they need our help in determining what changes will start to take place in 2018.
Every resident of Los Angeles County over the age of 18 is encouraged to take the survey, which will take about 20 minutes or your time but could lead to improvements that will last for generations!
