I hope you all have been well in the Fifth Council District. We are excited to work with Metro Los Angeles and Community Leaders of Palms to bring you the Palms Expo Phase 2 Grand Opening Event! On Saturday, May 21st, from 10 AM to 4PM, come out and join me as we celebrate the long awaited Expo line.
Joining me in the celebration will be a few of your elected officials, including Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas, Senator Holly Mitchell, and Assemblymember Richard Bloom. We will ceremoniously open the new Expo line with Metro Los Angeles at 10:30 AM and welcome everyone to the party!
There will be plenty of food available, lots of vendors, tons of entertainment, and many fun activities to enjoy. The party will take place on National Blvd. between Palms Blvd. and Clarington Ave.
Come on by and enjoy our new Palms Expo Station! Oh, and before I forget, Expo rides for the new station will be FREE ALL DAY!
