The annual College and Career Convention is designed to help students and their families prepare for college and the financial aid application process. The two-day event features expert-led college life and preparation seminars, interactive career demonstrations, financial aid and scholarship presentations, as well as an Exhibit Hall of college and university representatives from throughout the U.S.
On the first evening of the Convention, parents and guardians are invited to attend “Family and Community Night” where bilingual workshops educate families on how to foster a college-going environment at home.
Students in grades 6-12 that participate in the Convention are eligible to win one of twenty $1,000 scholarships raffled out over the two-day event.
