As more folks are hearing, a stretch of Pico Blvd between Fairfax Blvd and Cochran was among those chosen as a Los Angeles Great Street! Improvements to this short stretch will also benefit our surrounding neighborhoods.
The Pico Great Street Collaborative has been discussing art ideas for the street, especially (but not only) those that will calm traffic and otherwise enhance safety. Have you got relevant art project ideas to share? We are producing a zine we'll distribute that showcases ideas, and invites others to submit more.
This is a paper, pens and scissors event (not so much digital, and black & white only), so come with words, drawings, photos and other printables.
